On the 5th Day of Christmas

December 29, 2010

On the 5th day of Christmas there was craft, all sorts of craft.

Thank you so much for @jobeaz for hosting a very enjoyable crafting day at her home.  The day invloved 7 Librarians plus Miss 10 partaking in whatever crafts took our fancy.  We had long stitch and cross stitch, beading, felties, crochet and even quilt making.  I personally think I pulled out more crochet stitches than I ended up with but it was wonderfully relaxing day, with good company, good conversation and good food.  I think I will have to get the recipe for the licorice all sorts slice from Miss 10, very yummy indeed.

We definitely have to make it a regular occurrence.  We may not be up to the same bartering stage as our Melbourne Librarian counterparts but we will get there I’m sure.

So jealous! It looks like so much fun. Definitely something I would like to see happen over my way.
