Thanks to my good friend FionaWB for today’s blog post inspiration.

Seven things that scare me:

  1. Heights
  2. Things touching my legs while swimming in the ocean
  3. Becoming a Jane Doe in a morgue or hospital (hence I always carry id on me)
  4. Confrontation
  5. Public speaking
  6. Fires (bush, house, any type really, still don’t really like striking matches either)
  7. Birds flying low over me

 

Seven things I like:

  1. My husband
  2. My friends
  3. Chocolate
  4. Teddy bears
  5. Being a librarian
  6. Crocheting
  7. Coffee

 

Seven random facts about me:

  1. I don’t have a driver’s license
  2. I prefer reading non-fiction books over fiction
  3. I’ve never had a cat or dog as a pet
  4. I can sleep through almost any noise (including lawn mowers)
  5. I have over 320 teddy bears
  6. I have been to all of the previous New Librarian Symposiums
  7. The only bone I have ever broken in my body is a small sesamoid bone in my right foot

 

Sevens things I want to do before I die:

  1. Travel to Spain
  2. Have a white Christmas in Belfast with my husband’s family
  3. Read War and Peace
  4. Get my driver’s license
  5. Get a Hermann Spielwaren teddy bear
  6. Make the chocolate raspberry roll that my friend Peter makes that is absolutely delicious
  7. Visit all of the states and territories of Australia

 

Seven things I can do well:

  1. Make cards
  2. Hoard things
  3. Procrastinate
  4. Worry
  5. Listen
  6. Remember things
  7. Collect things

 

Seven things I can’t do but wish I could:

  1. Think quickly on the spot (which is why it is taking me so long to complete this post)
  2. Run for more than a couple of minutes (I think my dodgy knees may have something to say about that though)
  3. Speak another language
  4. Wear high heels
  5. Swim freestyle properly
  6. Think of things I can’t do
  7. Think of more things I can’t do

    The 7 things I can’t do but wish I can was the hardest one for me too. :-)
