- Heights
- Things touching my legs while swimming in the ocean
- Becoming a Jane Doe in a morgue or hospital (hence I always carry id on me)
- Confrontation
- Public speaking
- Fires (bush, house, any type really, still don’t really like striking matches either)
- Birds flying low over me
Seven things I like:
- My husband
- My friends
- Chocolate
- Teddy bears
- Being a librarian
- Crocheting
- Coffee
Seven random facts about me:
- I don’t have a driver’s license
- I prefer reading non-fiction books over fiction
- I’ve never had a cat or dog as a pet
- I can sleep through almost any noise (including lawn mowers)
- I have over 320 teddy bears
- I have been to all of the previous New Librarian Symposiums
- The only bone I have ever broken in my body is a small sesamoid bone in my right foot
Sevens things I want to do before I die:
- Travel to Spain
- Have a white Christmas in Belfast with my husband’s family
- Read War and Peace
- Get my driver’s license
- Get a Hermann Spielwaren teddy bear
- Make the chocolate raspberry roll that my friend Peter makes that is absolutely delicious
- Visit all of the states and territories of Australia

- Think quickly on the spot (which is why it is taking me so long to complete this post)
- Run for more than a couple of minutes (I think my dodgy knees may have something to say about that though)
